Well, if it's the headboard isn't that a good thing?

The hamster in the wheel....intoxicated.
My daughter had a hamster that liked to run on top of the wheel, instead of inside it. Sometimes she'd fall off the wheel or get jammed between the platform and the wheel.

And that's what dating feels like to me.

(I have no idea what it MEANS but that's what it feels like. Running like crazy and getting nowhere, falling off and/or getting stuck and having to get unstuck, and climbing back up and starting all over again. Hmmm.....maybe that's what it means, as well. Cool!)

Dating is like missing a trampoline on the way down. For a moment you feel like you can fly and then you go splat.

If you are banging your head on the headboard, then one wonders why you don't have sense enough to scoot down a little??

Sometimes dating feels like made-for-tv movies.

Ok, but not quite as good as the real thing.

Because the headboard knocks all sense out of you!
