Why thank ya! I really appreciate all of the birthday wishes! Who would have thunk it that I would make it to celebrate the 5th Anniversary of my 29th Birthday!

My day has been simply perfect so far. My guy woke me up this morning by reciting (yes, he wrote them down) the "35 (34 +1 for good luck) Reasons he Loves/Has Fallen in Love with Me" and then gave a copy to me to carry with me in case I "forget." If that wasn't wonderful enough, I also received a key to his home to come and go as I please once I return to work on Monday.

I am home now to get "prettied" for dinner tonight - a romantic dinner, destination currently unknown.

Seriously, can it get any better than this? I have fallen madly and deeply in love with a man who does not care that I have more medical diagnoses than a ICD-10 code book. He is trying so hard to make this day special for me . Need I remind you all that he was an eH FLEX match too?

Was it really me that posted to you all a mere 6 months ago asking if I was being selfish by dating given my medical issues and my prognosis? You all gave me the swift kick needed to put all that aside and throw myself out there again; reminded me that I need to do what is right for ME despite my doctors blah outlook on my life. I did...and look what happened . *HUGE grin*

So thank you to my new "family" and friends here at eHA for making my day special too. The amount of positive encouragement I receive here is astounding and have made a really tough year just a bit easier. I give you all lots of *hugs*.

My one birthday request that I ask of you all - take a few moments to celebrate today. Not because it is my birthday but because you all are still alive and able. Tell someone out there how much you appreciate them; give someone a pat on the back or "gold star" if they have earned it; give hugs freely without any expectations in return. Do not take time for granted - we never know when it will eventually run out, just that it will.

Yes, I am being mushy but it is my day and well...I CAN!

Love you guys!

Dr. T has asked me to move this thread to Everything Else so that all her other eHA friends can post in it as well. I'll leave a redirect here so the CSC folks can find it.

Oh, oh, oh!!! Happy, happy, birthday to a most wise and wonderful woman.

Hearing you talk about this day is such a wonderful present to us all on your birthday. A very different "place," indeed, than where you expected to be when you were anticipating this day months ago!

With all my heart, I very sincerely wish you many more!
