It is Thanksgiving morning/afternoon and I have a lot to be thankful for. Yes, I am single....still (lol!)...but I am quite content.

I have a good life with good people and I have a place to come to when I am bored and need to be entertained thanks to eHa and you fine folks. What more could a girl ask for?

I woke up this morning at my friend's house, got to snuggle for an hour with big hairy male (well, OK it was a dog but he is awfully sweet and cuddleable ), was able to un-decorate for Halloween, do a little grocery shopping (with every other procrastinator on the face of the earth) and have a great breakfast that was made for me. Life is good.

I am now on my way to my folks for Thanksgiving. My family drives me nuts sometimes but I love them, each and every one. Sometimes not all together but individually they are A-OK. lol!

I just want to wish you all a great day, full of joy. Enjoy and appreciate what you have. It is all we got.

Have a great day, folks. And thanks for always being here and for being you. lol!!

Only the bun, lettuce, tomato and bacon. I'll have the frog later

I'm thankful for all my eHA friends--those I've met online and those I've had the great pleasure of meeting in person. Except for that zal.

I am thankful for: (in alphabetical not importance!)

Axx - for teaching me that people with no previous history just need a chance
AngelPoet - for some way late conversations and a smiley face always in my facebook page!
Betty - for teaching me that 20-year-old hippies exist and they are oh so darn cool
Chuck - for showing me how flighty we Gemini are.. gosh we are so cute and always get our way
CO - for being such a sweetheart during our visit to SC and to that wonderful 30 feet long scarf I'll soon get to wear -with my all black NYC outfits - as she commented
Edgar - for proving that great gentlemen with class are still alive
Em - for everything.. best friend forever!
Eric R. - for teaching me that even more mature people including males have the same dating conundrums
Eric M - the most mysterious man alive.. for keeping the mysteriousness and hoping it's all good.
Hikers - D/T/P/M.. so many to count, for showing me amazing sites in the tri-state
Jason - for all the good times at work.. he is the greatest father, husband, and work mischief!
Jim - for all the amazing middle of the night vegan/running/cycling/existentialism chit chat and proving that even at 40 you can truly be a kid at heart!
Kibbie - for some crazy conversations in the wee hours and making me lick my lips after a well broken vegan diet with rum cake
Legend - for showing me that somebody can be super articulate, super fun and super energetic and still be single (of course with a slew of men following hehe)
Meetup Peeps - for all the fun, adventure, exercise and the future!!
Paul - my first and best friend in the state, he has taught me so much!!
RebornInFire - for wonderful companionship on a great kayaking trip!
Sabete - for some good NJ/NY times and much more to come
Sen - for everything.. best friend forever!
Shelby - for the wonderful time we had in NYC (even thought short) and proving that East Coast folk are A-OK
tbsq - for great phone call conversations and listening to somebody who is following their calling without any reservations

I should stop now!!! For everybody (not only on these boards) that has made me grow even more this year.. for all the hugs, kisses, heartaches, tears and homemade tea

XOXO,
Lav

Day after ThanksGiving.....Hope I'm not too late to the party.

Driving home today, got to the toll booth.....You know that crazy guy ahead of me paid for me, too?

And then he sped off so fast, I couldn't even catch up to give him a courtesy wave.

Kind of restores your faith in mankind.....
