I'm seeing 'em as I drive around town so I know there are some folks who have already put up their holiday decorations -- let's see yours! Post your picture below.

Hopefully they are a wee bit more elaborate than the ones on the house on the right below (though they certainly get points for creativity and humor!!)

Wow, no one's decorated for the holidays? Or no one wants to posts pics?

This news story today made me remember and dig up this thread:

Extreme holiday decorators spare no bulbs in spirit of season - CNN.com

What do you think of the really over-the-top holiday displays? Are they wasteful, delightful, or....something in between?

I love the ditto!

I think people should have fun with whatever they do ... unless it intrudes on the neighbors. My next-door neighbor has xmax carols playing 24/7 in his front yard. I do not like this. However I do not like 98% of what this neighbor does, and have learned to pick my battles. And this ain't one of them!

Love the pic Lori - hilarious! I'm going to my parents for Christmas, one of the electricians in town decks out his house and wins the town (cash) prize. Which he donates immediately to charities helping families who otherwise will not have a Christmas. I like the charity aspect of it best.
