I was reading this article today:

Strangers make collective art on the Web - CNN.com

and I thought:

"Hmph. OUR Community could do something like this, and it would be AWESOME!"

What do you guys think?

What might we do together?

I have a couple of ideas but want to hear from you guys first

Send him to his corner Lori. He needs to wear the pointy hat.

Do you want photoshop-ed collage? Pics of eyes ... faces ... like the article? Montage?

If it wasn't for Frog art, this thread would have no art at all!

About 5 years ago there was an art show at the Art College of Design in LA about technological art. The one piece I still remember well was this:

There were 2 separate rooms. Each had an identical couch faced by a webcam. The 2 webcams' pictures were merged by a computer and projected onto a screen facing the couch in each room.

So a person could sit on the couch in one room, and another person on the couch in the other room, and what you'd see on the screen is the 2 of you sitting on the couch.

It was surreal to be sitting on a couch in a room by yourself and then someone appears on the screen sitting next to you, and you could interact with each other since it was in real-time, but they're not there in reality.

Kind of like these boards!

Could have a full-page window here where people could drop in and type into it, even at the same time?
