It's here in Vegas, even though it's November now.

High tomorrow - 83.

I hate being on my own on New Years Eve which I have been for the last 7 years. This year I believed I would celebrate it with someone, that I wouldn't be single any longer. Well, it wasn't to be so it'll be my 8th New Year alone and I'm still single.

Heh, they don't even ask me if I'm going to have kids anymore--they consider me a lost cause because I'm too old to have kids in their minds, and they harass my younger brother and sister-in-law now.
About 5 years ago at a Bridget Jones style Boxing Day fixture I overheard my Mum tell someone "We're giving her till she's 40 and then we're giving up all hope"

There ought to be christmas free zones for us singletons to hang out in.

Since my son was born all i get is "When do you think you'll have another?" My mum keeps talking like i'll get back with his mother, even though she's about to have a baby with another bloke.
