Los Angeles times confirms:
Los Angeles Times - News from Los Angeles, California and the World

This was a rough day for our celebrity friends.

I really loved Michael Jackson's music when I was a kid.

The release of the Thriller video was a Top 20 highlight of my childhood. Really changed the music industry....

Yes and the thing about Michael Jackson....no matter how wacky he looked or how crazy he acted/lived -- when he took the stage, even as recently as a couple of years ago, he was still every bit as cool as he was back then.

You know, when I first heard the breaking news that the ambulance had picked him up at his house, I thought, geez, this guy sure does have a lot of drama in his life, and I wondered if it was for real or if it was just more drama. Everyone jumped on it, though, and within an hour they said he was gone.

I remember when Thriller came out and watching the video when it was shown on MTV for the very first time. I think I was in junior high school. My brother LOVED the record and listened to it incessantly. I was pretty impressed with it, too. The next thing you know, everyone's walking around wearing one glove and moonwalking their way through the halls. It was crazy. I never really followed his music much after that, though.

He is resting at the Cedar Hospital in L.A. his current condition is that he is in a Coma! While Joe and the family try to figure out were he stashed the cash!

Farrah Fawcett passed away from a long battle with cancer.

A friend just sent me a link to this video, asking if I remembered it. I absolutely do, it was the first time I ever saw him and I was pretty hooked on his music after that, for a few years:

What was your favorite Michael Jackson song? Link to it here so everyone can watch.

I remember that the first time I saw the Billie Jean video, I seriously thought it was the coolest thing I'd ever seen, with that lit up sidewalk and all:

It's strange how sad I feel about this given that I haven't really been a "fan" of his for at least 25+ years.

What's your source that he's still in a coma? AP, NY Times, LA Times, Fox News, and CNN all confirm he died after the coma.

I think that Harvey is just joking (stashed the cash).

I did also hear about Farrah, in fact I posted about her, then heard about Michael Jackson right after.

Sad day for our entertainment industry.

There was also an internet hoax that reported that Jeff Goldblum had fallen to his death while filming a movie today. NOT FUNNY.

Very sad day, Thriller was the first album I ever bought. He really made some good music for us and it never got too old. RIP Michael and Farrah Fawcett!
