Does anyone have anything fun planned for over the summer? Trips, time with kids, projects, etc.?

Tell us!

I would like to begin learning Italian this summer. Going to try to pick up a "previously owned" version of Rosetta Stone, if possible. I'm hoping to make a trip to Italy in a couple of years (a lifelong goal / dream).

How about you?

I'm headed to Iowa with my daughter and 9 others from my church to do some post-flood repairs and rebuilding for a week.

Then the daughter and I are going to the Harry Potter movie exhibit in Chicago, and to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, on the way home.

Oh, and we'll be spending 4 days in NYC and Long Island with my fiance and a couple of his friends in June.

And at the end of the summer, I move the daughter into her dorm room....oh my!!

I'm headed to Key West for a week. I'm also looking forward to meeting some friends at the CSC meet and greet at the end of June

Other than that, just enjoying the warm weather, going to baseball games and appreciating whatever summer may bring ... if it ever gets here

My LDR is coming for 9 days in July. We'll take the train from London to Paris (only a little over 2 hours) and spend 2 nights there. Then we'll go to Normandy to see where the D-Day Landings took place (he's a former 101st Screaming Eagle). The rest of the time we'll stay in Windsor and he'll meet one of my children and family for the first time.

If all goes well for me I plan on taking a 10,000 plus mile motorcycle trip going through the South, over to Highway 1 up to Mt St Helens and Mt Rainier, over to the Great Tetons and Yellowstone, then to the Devil's Tower (used in Encounter of the Third Kind) then to Milwaukee for the Harley Museum then to see my dad in Ohio then maybe head to the states on the East Coast I have not been to then back down to the Dragon's Tail (318 curves in 11 miles) in NC then to Florida maybe out to the Keys and back then home. Oh while heading to Highway 1 stop in at Yosemite.
