Red red wine you make me feel so fine
You keep me rocking all of the time
Red red wine you make me feel so grand
I feel a million dollars when your just in my hand
Red red wine you make me feel so sad
Any time I see you go it makes me feel bad

On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me... beer.
On the second day of Christmas my true love gave to me... two turtle necks and a beer.
On the third day of Cristmas my true love gave to me... three french toasts, two turtle necks and a beer in a tree.

"It's lonesome away from your kindred and all,
By the campfire at night where the wild dingos call,
But there's nothin' so lonesome, so dull or so drear,
Than to stand in the bar of a pub with no beer!"

Then in comes the swagman, all covered with flies,
He throws down his roll, wipes the sweat from his eyes,
But when he is told he says, "What's this I hear?
I've trudged fifty flamin' miles to a pub with no beer!"

Back to the land of orgin
"What more diveration can a man desire
to be seated by a snug coal fire
Upon his knee a pritty wench and on the table a jug of punch

If I were sick and very bad, and was not able to go or stand
I would no think it all to amiss to pledge my shoes for a jug of punch

When I am dead and in my grave no costly toomstone will I have
Lay me down in my native peat with a jug of punch at my head and feet."
(Jug of Punch-Irish Drinking Song)

In 1814 we took a little trip
along with colonel Jackson down the mighty Mississip
we took a little bacon and we took a little beans
and we cought the bloody British
in the town of New Orleans.
We fired our guns and the British kept a comin
wasn't 'bout as many as there was a while ago
we fired once more and they began to runnin
and they ran through the briars and they ran through the branches
they ran through the bushes where rabbits couldn't go
they ran so fast that the hounds couldn't catch 'em
went to to mississippi to the gulf of mexico.

Okay, I haven't heard that song for almost 40 yrs so I don't remember who sang it. It's scary I remember that much of it as it is.

Johnny Horton.

And so now every April, I sit on me porch
And I watch the parades pass before me
And I see my old comrades, how proudly they march
Reliving old dreams of past glories
And the old men march slowly, old bones stiff and sore
They're tired old heroes from a forgotten war
And the young people ask, what are they marching for?
And I ask myself the same question.

And the band played Waltzing Matilda, and the old men still answer the call
But as year follows year, more old men disappear
Someday no one will march at all.

Waltzing Matilda, Waltzing Matilda, who'll come a waltzing Matilda with me
And their ghosts may be heard as they march by that billabong
Who'll come a-waltzing Matilda with me?

(And the Band played Waltzing Matilda)

I remember the night and the Tennessee Waltz
Now I know just how much I have lost
Yes, I lost my little darlin' the night they were playing
The beautiful Tennessee Waltz.

And all she wants to do is dance
And make romance
She cant feel the heat comin off the street
She wants to party
She wants to get down
And all she wants to do is dance
