Alcohol depletes your B vitamins and magnesium, and that depletion is partly responsible for hangover symptoms (low magnesium will make you moresensitive to light and noise, for example). Alcohol also dehydrates you. I've also heard that alcohol depletes vitamin C, though I haven't actually read up on that...


Anyway, drink lots of liquid, and take a vitamin B complex along with magnesium and vitamin C. Or drink orange juice. And take ibuprofen for the pain.
