If you sneeze, don't expect me to say "Bless You".

I do expect you to say "Excuse Me".

Why should I bless you for spraying your stuff all over the place?

Don't make me say it.

I sneeze every once and awhile and inevitably someone will say "bless you." My first thought is "f**K off...

I haven't thought of that in forever... I may make that one of my New Years Resolutions and use that line at least once in the next year (at the right time of course)!

You guys are just rude - The "Bless You" routine has ancient history behind it.

Joy, I say "God Bless You", and like to hear it back. But I'm an equal opportunist.

This was my first thought too. The story that I heard was that saying "Bless You" after someone sneezes is to help their soul return to the body. In ancient times, it was believed that the soul left the body every time you sneeze. By saying "Bless You", it's the other person's way of helping your soul find its way back to the body.

Mind you, December has a point about stuff flying all over the place when a person sneezes. Did you know that every time you sneeze, 200,000 to 250,000 germs fly out at the rate of about 200 miles per hour. If you have to sneeze do it somewhere far away from me. I'll still bless you after the sneeze. No point in your soul getting lost in the process.

But, see...that's the part that irks me. I'm considered rude if I don't say it.But, its fine for people not to say excuse me, and I'm expected to comment on someone else's sneeze. Its all azzbackwardz. I agree with Dennis...
