Okay, I want to hear your stories. I love these things without a word of lie!

What was the best christmas gift you ever got from someone and what was the worst one you got?

I need time to think about my best gift, but my worst one is a no-brainer so I will tell y'all when I think of the best one.

The worst gift I ever got was for Valentines day not Christmas. My ex got me a weight watchers cook book! Now in all fairness to him, I had mentioned that I would like to have it , in order to attempt to cook healthier, but it was a Sh ity Valentine gift lol!But I must say that he also bought me great gifts at other times, so he just wasnt thinking to good this day!

The best Christmas present I ever got was a video of my sister's two oldest children (Garett and Megan) unwrapping their gifts. Garett was about 10 and Megan would have been 6. I've still got it. I haven't watched it for a while but now that you've reminded me I'll dig it out and have another look.

The worst was a 36 page photo album for 3 by 5 pictures that you can get at any five and dime. It was the kind that had the plastic covers that you slide the pictures in to. It was the cheapest looking thing I'd ever seen and probably only cost a nickel or dime.

My best Christmas gift are these microfiber sheets that my friend gave me. These sheets are absolute heaven. They are so great that that same year I ran out and bought a couple packages to give as gifts. And darn it all, for whatever reason people were not buying these sheets and the stores discontinued selling them. But they are absolutely the best thing ever invented. I had a hard time getting out of bed before I had these sheets, now it takes an act of God. I love waking up in the morning and making like a snow angel in my bed so I can feel how soft these things are.

My worst, was some sort of cheese grater from a boyfriend. Cheese grater...really?? Men, please learn that when shopping for women...get her something she wants that she would not buy for herself and whatever you do...do not get her something that she needs.

My funniest (adding my own category), was the first Christmas with my last ex. He first bought me a fire extinguisher(yeah, go figure!) but after he opened his gift from me he decided that his giftjustwasn't what he wanted to give me. So he gave me an outfit. WhenI tried on the outfit, I discovered that he had bought junior sizes. When I told him this, you should have seenhis face. Iguess when he was shopping for an outfit, he went into a kids store without realizing it anda saleswoman helped him pick outthe outfit. When he told her he was buying the outfit for hisgirlfriend she gave him a funny look. It was not until then that he realizedwhat that woman must have been thinking about him. That was very funny!!

The best Christmas gift I ever got was a battery drill. Seriously, I can screw everything all by my lonesome.

Livinagin: I had an ex give me a little toolset and while at the time it didn't seem very exciting it has been invaluable and I've carried it with me from apartment to apartment ever since. A gift that keeps on giving..

Cant thing of a worst one at the moment..

About the worst one I can come up with is one that I got from one of my girlfriends this week. She is always broke so I don't mind. But I haven't opened the box and I've already planned to wrap it for a White Elephant at a party on Saturday. I owned it for . . . . hmmm . . . . three days. Poof!

Worst gift was given to my daughter by my sister in law when my daughter was seven. It was Dove soap. It was a gift pack that she had gotten on sale from a grocery store. A bar of soap, abottle of soft soap, and a scrubby all in a plastic bag. Worst part was my brother is extremely well off but both he and his wife are penny pincher's to an extreme.

Best gift in recent memory was what my kids got me last Christmas. They all pooled every dime and penny they could save up and had their grandfather take them to the store and dumped their change onto the counter and got me a Sony Walkman.

Worst gift - yearssss ago. It was a winter coat my (then) mother in law gave me. It was absolutely hideous. All patchwork patterned, with HUGE gold areas, burgundy/gray pasiley areas, silver quilting, all puffyand sequined. Ughh... (shuddering)sooooo not my style. My (then) husband kept insisting I try it on. Somewhere out there is a picture of me in this.... coat!.... with what appears to be tears welling up in my eyes.....
