It's a new trend to blame the economy for everything that is going wrong. So I thought I would start this thread as a fun game to find out how many ways we can blame the economy for our personal issues:

My love life sucks, it's the economy!!!!
That girl at the bar just gave me the cold shoulder, it's the economy!!!!
My Ex-girlfriend got married to my best friend, it's the economy!!!!

I kid, I kid. But you get the idea.

Clearly you can attribute all of those things to the economy. Your love life sucks because you got laid off and can't at the very least join a dating site.

Bar girl? Well once you lost your job, you became a little sloppy and depressed. Bar girl sees this side of you. It isn't attractive.

Your ex? Well, your best friend is probably successful in the business world where you clearly aren't.

See, we can blame it on the economy! I bet it all makes sense to you now!
