OK folks, time to toot your own horn!

Did you land a great new job this year? Were you promoted in 2009? Did you complete some important work this year? Get some professional accolade?

Tell us what you've done, so we can join in the applause for you!

Thanks Lori - I LOVE talking about my job! I had help with most of these accomplishments.

~ Worked on a number of ideas (some mine) which as all were implemented successfully, will result in savings of around $70M by 2015. Savings banked this year: around $10M.

~ Kept my job and my staff when our company merged with another this year.

~ Met drastically changed deadline two weeks ahead of schedule - nothing like being told you've got to find nearly 2M numbers above previous forecast!

~ Got a new boss (who knows me well) and put forward a convincing business case I need to expand my department. Currently recruiting, I expect to be interviewing next week - though with the proximity to Christmas, interviewing may get pushed out to after New Year.
