I'm wondering to what extent the bad economy is effecting your raises and bonuses. Are you still seeing financial (or other) perks from your company, or are you just grateful to have a job?
I got a small raise -ie just over cost of living. We have gotten bonuses every quarter but the last one was really small. My company is hurting but I think trying to keep good people thus the raise, though small. They slightly raised our insurance premiums but less than the increase in overall rates. No cut in 401k match, etc.

I have gotten several calls from headhunters on jobs. Locally I know most of the people who do what I do at approx the same level-two companies got bought out and both of the people at those companies landed new jobs rather easily. So I am not too worried (yet).

I got a raise today! 2% that will go into effect Nov. 1. It's smaller than the raises my company typically gives, but they are trying to get us back on track as our business improves (which it seems to be doing over the last couple of months.)

I was supposed to get a 19% raise for a course I finished in June. Two weeks before I finished the organization put a freeze on all raises. A little bitter about that one still.

There have been cutbacks for raises, but we still got a pretty substantial cost of living raise.

The economy is a lot better up here in Canada (or at least the part of the country I live in) than it is for y'all down south of us. Probably the reason why the tap hasn't been shut off as much on raises/bonuses.

I'm grateful to have a job, I'm a forensic technician, and we just had a round of layoffs and a freeze on both merit and cost of living increases. As a county employee my job should be insulated from economic fluctuations. But the problem is that the county budget is based on money collected from property taxes. As house values decline, and more people go into foreclosure the county collects less property taxes. Less property taxes collected = a smaller operating budget = county wide layoffs to balance the budget = I'm lucky to still have a job.

The state salary I get was hit with a reduction, plus an increase in my insurance. The local district's pay scale was already tied to a 2% increase, and I did move up one step on the state/local pay scale, so the total effect was nil.

I feel like we dodged quite a bullet. The governor was initially proposing a 10% reduction.
