What was the best job you ever had? What made it so good? Would you do it again?

I work as a casino advisor in Alberta. I get to work with different people every day...in an energy charged environment...the hours are a bit of a drawback...but I really enjoy what I do, so who can ask for more than that?

The best job I ever had was as a first- time newspaper reporter at the age of twenty-five. I liked it becauseit allowed me to interview local politicians and celeberties, write stories and learn how to lay out anewspaper.

The other reporters and staff were hard-working and fun to be around, and every week when the paperwas done and fresh off the press, we would either send out for pizza or go out to a really funky restaurant.

The job paid well, but lasted only a year. It was a government- funded project that had simply run its course. We were all so sad to have to part company.I lost touch with all but two people, often wondering where everyone is and what they're doing now!

I just saw the best job ever advertized. Australian govt will pay $105k plus luxury living quarters on the Great Barrier Reef to anyone who can demonstrate that their blog would get the most attention to the Reef.

Brush up that blog-site you've been wasting and have at it!

The best job I ever had was working as a Sr. Park Aide - Visitor Service in a CA state park. It was seasonal work though; it was very tough to have to leave at the end of the summer season.

Photography. You are your own boss, meet cool & famous people, you can be creative and get to be "free" (as opposed to being tied down to a desk.) In the early 90s, computers started replacing photographers. I'd do it again if it was 20 odd years ago.

I work as a Police Officer in Kansas. I couldn’t see myself doing anything else. I’m not in the mindset that “I’m going to make a difference” but it’s good to know when I get someone off the streets it will have an impact on them. I think the best part of my job is experiencing something new every day and not having to do the same thing twice. Even thought cops are not the most liked people; we play a very important part in the community. Also please don’t be mean to an Officer if you mess up and get a ticket. We are just doing our jobs and you know the risk if you get in a car and don’t put on your seatbelt or if you drive faster than the posted speed limit.
