I'm a high school English and Applied Communications teacher, as well as a Curriculum Specialist. I teach at a career center, and I consider myself to be so blessed to work with the students there--they're so down to earth and such an absolute blast to have in my classes.

I am a medications program assistant who works with indigent mentally ill clients in partnering them up with pharmaceutical companies so the county can get reimbursed for the cost of their medications. the pharmaceutical companies offer this and so it is a win/win situation and it keeps the coffers fuller, especially in this economy. i love working with these clients. i have my own office, report to my 'mothership' by phone 30 miles away in the county seat if i have questions or issues or need supplies and those are sent to me via county mail. i work out of a busy county mental health clinic, i enjoy the automony, and, more specifically, the clients.previous 20 years was working in administrative capacities for universities/community colleges, etc. i enjoyed working with the students but hated the office politics. in a sense, i enjoyed the work but not the work environment. i may return to the university one day (a student junkie at heart) in a professional capacity.

I'm a full-time student and part-time office clerk. I work at a tourist attraction the Winchester Mystery House. I love it very much. But my future career dreams is to become either a lawyer or a paralegal after I'm done with college.

Old thread, but I missed it somehow!

My title is financial officer: meaning, I take care of everything finance, accounting and budget-related for a city department. Oh, and if someone goes crazy or needs to be "disciplined" I get to deal with that, too :-/

My job title is in my opinion misleading (therefore, I refuse to use it), because during the course of the day, I do not practice within the field very much, and the people I work for find all this other non-related stuff for me to do. In reality, everyone there are flunkies with fancy titles, but I implement behavior modification plans combined with psychopharmacology.
