Huck Finn, right? It's been years since I read either it or Tom Sawyer. Are you also planning to use famous opening lines?
Yep, that will be next. And Huck Finn is right on the money....I thought the 'Aunt Sally' reference was a dead giveaway!

I am going to post the ending lines of some of the most famous books in Western literature. Without cyber assistance, can you name the book and author?

GO!

#1 - 'So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.'
Really? No one knows this one? I quoted it verbatim without even opening the book to check!

I, for one, really don't know about that one. My SWAG would be Moby Dick? But I don't think it really sounds like Melville.

Oh, okay. I slept through that one, honestly. Bored me to tears. Soured me on FSF to this day.

LOL - and it is one of my top 5 of all times....i can quote huge sections without looking.
" So he waited, listening for a moment longer to the tuning-fork that had been struck upon a star. Then he kissed her. At his lips' touch she blossomed for him like a flower and the incarnation was complete."

Sigh.....
