Has anyone else read this book? I just finished it on audio (18 cd's) and I loved it. It made me cry in the car and made me so mad at the villain. Was wondering what anyone else thought and if anyone else fell in love with the Sawtelle dogs (particularly Almondine, Essay and Tender).

Oh YogaGal......I'm so glad you mentioned this book. I read it about a year ago. I absolutely loved it!!!! I have it listed in my profile.

I have never read a book that makes you feel like you know what a dog is thinking and how integral our relationship is with them.

Oh......Almondine!!!! At the end, I felt so.......well, I can't give it away.

Mary O, what did you think about Trudy? I have some opinions on her and what she did after someone died..... did that bother you?

Oh, and I loved the character of Henry... he definitely wasn't ordinary!

I just finished it a couple of weeks ago. The ending took my by surprise.... definitely not what I was hoping for or thought was going to happen!

And, yes, the Sawtelle dogs sound fantastic.
