I really like Nora Roberts, too. Read lots of her books, which is easy to do since she's written so many! But I really don't like many of the movies they make of her books. IDK, they're a little too sappy or something. I can't remember the names exactly, but I really liked her trilogy about the keys--Key of Valor, I think was one of them.

I absolutely adore Nora Roberts' personality; I've read interviews and also some internet commentary that she's posted, and she's funny, intelligent, and not afraid to speak her mind.

That said, though, I just can't really connect with her novels. I've tried, I've honestly tried, but her writing just doesn't work for me. I've read three or four of her novels, and found myself skipping the emotional, romantic parts to get to the 'whodunnit' parts.

She does have a talent for plotting suspense and describing setting. Her heroines, though, just don't invite me to identify with them and their romantic issues.

I have read a lot of Nora Roberts in fact she is one of my favorites.I do not like the stories she writes under the name J.D. Robb though. I think she is a wonderful storyteller in fact I look for her books regularly and she is one of the authors I collect.
