Yes! I was waiting for that, thanks coleman.

I have never read a more hilarious, ridiculous and outlandish trilogy in all my life. To be honest, I got so burned out on Douglas Adams' bizarre journey, that I put down "Life, the Universe, and Everything" when I was only half way through, but it remains on the top of my list for sheer humor value.

If you haven't' read book 2, "The Restaurant at the End of the Universe", I would highly recommend it.
Indeed! And you're welcome!

I received this book as a gift.. It cracked me up!! It''s co-written by Felicity Huffman from Desperate Housewives.

A practical handbook for the boyfriend
for every guy who wants to be one
for every girl who wants to build one

Big fan of Dave Barry, like most, but I really love Jen Lancaster's series of books (had to clean up the "arse" bits in the titles). Just the titles alone are pretty funny, and she writes in a free-flowing blog style.

Bitter Is the New Black: Confessions of a Condescending, Egomanical, Self-Centered, Smartarse, or Why You Should Never Carry a Prada Bag to the Unemployment Office

Bright Lights, Big Arse: A Self-Indulgent, Surly Ex-Sorority Girl's Guide to Why it Often Sucks in the City, or Who Are All These Idiots and Why Do They Live Next Door to Me?

Such A Pretty Fat: One Narcissist's Quest to Discover If Her Life Makes Her Arse Look Big; Or, Why Pie Is Not the Answer

Pretty In Plaid: A Life, a Witch, and a Wardrobe, or, the Wonder Years Before the Condescending, Egomaniacal, Self-Centered Smart-Arse Phase

Heh, I thought mentioning the Hitchhiker's Guide series was kind of pointless considering my status =).

Still one of my favorite parts of those books is an excerpt from the Hitchhiker's Guide..."It is known that there are an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the Universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the whole Universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the products of a deranged imagination."

Cracks me up every time.

David Sedaris, hands down...
"When You Are Engulfed in Flames".. is one of my favorites.

I like Stephen Colbert, though, too.
Dennis Miller writes some good stuff.

I thought "Good Omens" by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett was funny.
