After Twilight I got back on a vampire kick. I've always been a vamp fan in lit. I've read Anne Rice since before I should have. So, the Sookie Stackhouse series and Laurell K Hamilton series were must reads and GREAT! More adult oriented, however I'm still a Twilight fan at heart and yes, I've also read some other pretty good teenybopper vamp books ie. Blue Bloods, Vampire Academy and the P.C and Kristin Cast series. I've apparently been a vampire addict my entire life and need some serious help.

SweetKatie. I feel u 100%. Im completely n love with Edward & Bella. Ur right...COMPLETELY unattainable-yet EXTREMELY desirable. The idea of having such a fierce connection with someone. wwwew! that would b nice. Funny thing though. I laughed at my girlfriend who first told me about some book with vampires and love stories. I remember saying, "What is it, Sweet Valley High meets Underworld." LOL But when my brother whose been n the Marines for 12 yrs insisted.... erghhh! I def had to give it a look see. and I LOVE ALL OF THEM :-)

Love the books. I read all four , all of midnight sun well the part Stephanie Meyer put on her web site, a fan’s blog story named unofficial twilight can’t remember the link I used to find it, and starting to think of ways I want the story to end due to the fact I was not happy with the ending. Spoiler alert if you have not read Breaking Dawn do not read any more… I want to know more about the characters the relationship between Renesmee and Jacob and how that will work out.

OK, I WILL admit, being a guy, reading AND liking both Twilight and New Moon (I won't read the other two until the new two movies are released. I've also read the first Sookie book (good), and the first 3 Anita books (which I thought were only ok). I've also read the first Vampire Academy (EXCELLENT!), the first PC & Kristin book (it was ok... I'll read more). The one that I HATED was The Vampire Diaries, which was really disappointing for me, as I've loved the TV show so far.

I've ALSO been a vampire addict for basically my entire life. Heck, I read Dracula when I was 10!

Lol - shame you are not closer - as you, I became a vampire addict around the age of 12 reading Bram's Dracula (scared the ... out of me!) - I have all those books - have all the Sookie Stackhouse ones, daughter has all the PC & Kristin Cast books, have all the Anita ones & the Twilight series off course.

You might be interested in the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews - good strong female character.

My 12 yr old daughter is also an addict - so at least I can save some pennies sharing books with her (not to mention my t-shirts).

Back to Twilight - I really enjoyed them - light story - telling entertainment, with a new twists on some aspects of the supernatural. Dare I admit it - I'm an Edward girl.
