About Me

    About Me

I am looking for my life's partner, not much success so far. Looking for that last date. Never been married (quiet down!) I feel I am a hopeful romantic, but have never written poetry cause I suck at it :OP I am a lifetime amateur artist, like figure drawing, animals and cartoon illustration. I am learning Digital Illustration 2d and 3D. I am also trying to learn to play the Guitar. I like activities with dogs and horses. I also like activities with people :O)---------------------------------------------

    Education

    Wattsamatta U, 2008
    Moosylvania

    Music

    I have eclectic music tastes-
Leann Rimes, The Eagles, Garth Brooks, Chicago,
Sugarland, Remy Zero, Bon Jovi, John Williams
soundtracks, Big Band (Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman).
New one- Northey Valenzuela. Not Hip-Hop or Rap :OP

    TV Shows

Don't watch much TV, mainly watch some TV shows on
Amazon Unbox, DVD movies. Older shows would be
Beauty and The Beast, Buffy and Mr. Pointy. My current
favorites: The Medium, 24, Terminator:SCC, Chuck.

    Movies

The Lake House, The Brave One are my current favorites.
I also enjoyed Good luck Chuck (who doesn't like Jessica Alba). Jane Austen Book Club, The Dark Knight, Iron Man, Looking forward to Terminator: Salvation and Star Trek.

    Books

Anything by Dean Koontz, Stephen King. Just read 'The Longest Evening of the Year (DK), "Duma Key" (SK).
The thing I really like about Dean Koontz is he always finds a way to integrate a Golden Retriever into most of his stories. I an nuts about dogs and they normally reciprocate. The Testament was good by Eric Van Lusbader. I liked The Da Vinci Code (Ha! mock me now)
Currently reading Angels and Demons, The Gospel of Mary Magdalene.

    Quotes

"I leave you, hoping that the lamp of liberty will burn in your bosoms until there shall no longer be a doubt that all men are created free and equal."--------------------
    Abraham Lincoln.--------------------------------------------
Those who do not learn the lessons of history are doomed to repeat them.----------------------------
    Benjamin Disraeli.------------------------------------------
Love takes up where knowledge leaves off. --------
    Saint Thomas Aquinas--------------------------------------
No, no I never guess. It is a shocking habit - destructive to the logical faculty. --------------------------
    Sherlock Holmes ---------------------------------------------
I cannot agree with those who rank modesty among the virtues. To the logician all things should be seen exactly as they are, and to underestimate one's self is as much a departure from truth as to exaggerate one's own powers. -------------------------------------------------Sherlock Holmes ------------------------------------------
