About Me
I was married for 33 years, but lost my wife 2 years ago to a brain tumour. Now it's just me and the dog & cat.
I love to talk (and listen!)....I love words and try to express myself as accurately as I can.....makes doing this very difficult for me, as I want to portray a true picture.
I can appear emotionally cool, but actually I am quite affectionate and tactile.
I am very curious and interested in 'finding-out things' ....."I'll look it up" is a bit of a mantra! I guess it's one reason I enjoy, and usually do well in quizzes.
Few things make me angry (injustice, vandalism, discourtesy) , and I don't think I am ever 'moody' .....I like to discuss things openly, rather than bottling them up and don't like 'loose ends' so prefer to try to get to he bottom of issues, rather than just ignoring them or pretending they don't exist.
Although I'd love to be sharing life's ups & downs with a close companion, I also sometimes need some space and time for myself.
I am a great believer in accepting responsibility for things which happen....not simply 'allocating blame'.
