It really depends on my mood, but in general I tend toward folk, blues, jazz, and Celtic-inspired. Sometimes I'm in the mood for classical.

Grey's Anatomy, House, Desperate Housewives, The Daily Show, Colbert Report, and I sometimes get caught up in reality shows

Princess Bride (I'm a hopeless romantic at heart), Unbearable Lightness of Being (it has my all-time favorite movie scene). To be honest though, I see far more live theatre than movies - 40-50 plays per year.

Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy (all five books in the trilogy); pretty much anything by Hugh MacLennan; Mordecai Richler; Stephen Leacock; The Artist's Way; many of the Russian Classics; fictional stories (including romance) set in a historical period that then pique my interest in said period.
