About Me

    Music

Most all. There is something I like in almost every genre. I tend to keep classical on in the background when I'm not really listening. If it ain't baroque...

    TV Shows

Dateless in White Plains - The hopefully soon canceled series playing daily in the back of my mind.

    Movies

(Some all time favorites) The African Queen, Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Ghost and Mrs. Muir (Actually, I'll sit through anything with Gene Tierney, even Dragonwyck), The Addams Family, Time Bandits, The Sting, March of the Wooden Soldiers and anything by Mel Brooks (Yes, a strange mix).

    Books

I read a lot of stuff like textbooks, books on science and physics (Newton to Einstein, Hawking and more), science fiction (Larry Niven!!!, Nancy Kress, Frank Herbert, Robert A. Heinlein, Issac Asimov and more), computer manuals (what fun) and 'how to' books. I've also read many of the classics (if only the "Reader's Digest" version, such as A Tale of a City, The Two Musketeers, Romeo, Sixth Night, Of Mice, etc.) and some of the more popular titles. The last book I read was on memory improvement. I don't recall the title.

    Quotes

"Imagination is more important than knowledge" - A. Einstein ~~~ "I remember when a quarter used to cost a nickel" - S. B. Squarepants
