I mostly watch documentary programs, such as the History, Discovery, and the Sci-fi Channel.

The Last of The Mohicans, Aliens II, Das Boot, The Lord of The Rings, Black Hawk Down, Band of Brothers, Full Metal Jacket, Queen Margot, Dawn of The Dead, Hidden Blade, Glory, The Joy Luck Club, Kindergarten Cop, A Few Good Men.

I enjoy reading military history, psychology, firearm reference books, poetry, military / sci fi thrillers, zombie stories, Hemmingway, Kahlil Gibran, Sun Tzu, Javan and Antoine de Saint-Exupery. My favorite books are "The Collected Poems of Sarah Teasdale" and "Wind, Sand, And Stars".
