Aside from being a CPA I also am a licensed hairdresser (it accounts for the two year gap in between college and high school) and also obtained Stock Broker's licenses as well. Seems I became a collector of licenses. What I dream to be is a successful writer, more than anything and am hoping that I will find the path to that success that I am meant to follow. That's work stuff. Personally, I have the best dog in the world named Lily and she is a great companion. I have never been married and have no children. I come from a large family though now we are spread out over many states. I am fortunate to have traveled over a good bit of the world and have had the time of my life doing so, making many great friends along the way. Travel has changed my life, it really has. Living in a big city has given me many opportunities to experience fantastic things culturally, gastronomically, historically and FUN! I've been lucky. A quieter life in a smaller place may be in the foreseeable future. What else? Being independent can feel very empowering but finding a true companion might bring a very pleasant balance to life. A special man? Hope so.

I don't watch many regular TV shows; most of it unwatchable. I prefer to watch Turner Classic Movies, I just love the oldies! Such great stories, characters & adventures. I love modern movies too, so I grab them if a good classic isn't on. I like documentaries, don't like reality TV, PBS, and if all else fails, I put on a DVD.

Gone With the Wind is one of so many.......I am a fan of many movies, past and present. I will see films of actors and actresses I like, past/present, in all genres. Comedy, Romance, Drama, Action/Adventure.......if it's well done, good story, I'll check it out. I love WWII and other war movies! You'd be surprised at what I like in movies.

Oh goodness, another long list. Love the classics here too (except HATE Catcher in the Rye) and love Non-Fiction, reading Bio's, Travel Guides/Essays/Memoirs, Writing reference books, philosophy/religion books, foreign language learning books and many more
