About Me

    About Me

I'm just a normal guy (I think) trying to figure out this crazy world. Although I do love the outdoors and going to the country I'm a city boy at heart, my userid is mostly a nod to Bushido the ancient samurai code of conduct. I have a pretty eclectic personality sometimes I can be a bit of a loner, introspective and a little quiet. Other times I'm extremely extroverted and the life of the party. I enjoy going to different parks and wildlife areas to hike, explore, jog or just relax on a nice day. I have never married yet and have no kids, but hopefully someday!

    Music

I mostly listen to a lot of the newer rock, metal, punk, screamo, post-hardcore, metalcore, genres like that. I also don't mind a little indie or electronic/techno, and groups I grew up with like Pearl Jam, U2, Radiohead, Weezer, and Depeche Mode to name a few. Old school Genesis, Rush, Yes, etc. (70's). Trance, trip-hop, electronica, and some house.

    TV Shows

The History Channel, Discovery, news, football and basketball. Television is pretty mind numbing right now, most of it will totally lower your IQ.

    Movies

Anything thats reasonably intelligent....I like a lot of the the more artsy or imaginitive/creative movies like Pans Labyrinth for example. I can watch a chick flick if she wishes, I am still a romantic afterall. Favorite movie I've seen lately - District 9.

    Books

I'm a geek in this area, when it comes to fiction I still enjoy the Lord of the Rings style fantasy novels. A couple of authors whose work I used to enjoy very much were R.A. Salvatore and Raymond E. Feist.

    Quotes

"A journey of a thousand miles, must begin with a single step" -Confucius
