Fiddler on the Roof, Tout la Matin du Monde [All the Mornings of the World] - this took me three tries to see, as it was only playing at a midnight showing and I kept falling asleep after about 2/3 of the movie (I was used to getting up at 5am at that time, so a late movie was VERY difficult for me, but this was worth it!), The World According to Garp, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas (one of the most heartbreaking movies I ever saw), Liegen Lernen [Learning to Lie] - don't know if this one is available in English or with subtitles, but it's worth seeing if you can find it.... And more. I love thought provoking movies, regardless of their origins and tend to watch a lot of foreign films.
