(LOL!) Being "astrologically" inclined (with doing charts, and the whole "thing"), Scorpio women are definitely "bad juju" for me! Usually Scorpio folks are pretty famously into "control" issues anyway, so that doesn't fly so well with my free-spirited creative side. And Aquarius types don't work so good either, as they're too much in the other direction, being hyper-independent and very reluctant to be tied down by anything "emotional"!

But after one marriage and two LTR's, I probably do know a thing or two about Taurus women!!

I'm definitely a primitive. I'd rather come here and talk first.

I know algorithms pretty well. They cannot replace human interaction (yeah, I'm going to get banned for swimming against the e-harmony marketing tide).

The algorithms can "narrrow" things, but they can't really detect "chemistry" and real inter-personal affinity (i.e. that girl/guy really interests me; he/she really makes me all "hot"; and, I want to know her/him.)

Maybe I should actually register now?

True. They can't possibly show things like a great smile or the twinkle in someone's eye or fascinating conversation.

ROFL! There's a commercial (I think it's for cable or satellite) where a large man and an average woman are on a blind date, and he says:

You look better than I thought. How do you think I look?
I thought you'd be more... athletic.
Why do you say that?
Because your profile said you were athletic.
Hey, I bowl 280!

An "average" woman! Color me happy!

I just shed a skinny self-absorbed one. Can we say "hot, but can't hang with life?" Sure we can. I knew we could.......

But if you like bowlers, I'll poke my belly out for you...

FYI, just a bit of "personal experience" re: said "algorithms". Between '08 & this year I previously joined eH for two back-to-back 3-month memberships. But after being dissatisfied the first time (and being "perversely curious"), the 2nd time I signed up under another name and deliberately gave different answers to nearly all the signup questions (hey, what's to lose?)! Anyway, it's probably because I live out here in the "sticks" of NorCal, so both times I only received matches from far away (including Canada, WA, OR, NV & AZ).

But what was so interesting was how many of the matches I received during the second 3-month membership, that were exactly the same as the ones from the first membership, despite all my different answers (and the much-touted "29 Dimensions of Compatibility")! And although I can't be the first to have experienced it, no doubt eH has plenty of "excuses" in the "fine print" to explain this, if it's ever pointed out!
