If someone ditches you after your first date, is it considered inappropriate to show up at their place later in the week and throw a pie in their face?

And, if not, are certain pies off-limits?

Should you take allergies into account?

I would say any cream pie would be appropriate. I would stay away from Pecan/possible allergy to nuts??? Also you don't want to cause a serious injury, just to their ego. So if we could come up with a recipe for an ego altering pie that might be the best one to toss. Oh have your running shoes on or a getaway driver after you toss it.

I like key lime pie and the Phillies, but not in that order.
Why would you want a second date with someone you want to pieintheeye?

I would consider that appropriate indeed. How 'bout a can of whipped cream, spray it on with artistic swirls on the top of the head and then place a cherry on the top. Then take a pic and post it on here.
With practice, you'll be able to do it in seconds.

Why would you want to waste a perfectly good pie on someone like that?

There is comfort in pie. I suggest you sit down with the pie and let it take your woes away. Maybe a nice warm apple pie with some vanilla ice cream to sooth your troubles.

If you must throw a pie, go with lemon meringue---I don't care for it.

Pies are too much committment ... something I try to avoid.

I would consider some non-edible substance, however it could easily be a substance that someone had eaten... say 8 hours ago.
