In my part of the world, it is time for dinner and another dip in the heady perfume of Vick's Vapor Rub for my cold.

What time zone is that?

I always thought it was a capitalist plot. We didn't have DST in the Communist country I was born in.

True enough...when it's only light, what, 4 hours a day...?

I thought DST had to do with more daylight hours for farmers or something.

Still don't like it.

And yet, our most rural province (Sask) doesn't do DST. Hmmmm....

Besides, it's not like they get any more hours of daylight - it just changes when they get it.

I don't like when we spring foward, who thought of that one.
I feel so rush in the summer, just means I have more daylight to do more work out side. It use to be more time to get in trouble. I think those days are slowly coming to an end.
