So I was just on Wikipedia reading about the Rastafari (I'm a Bob Marley fan, but never really knew what he was singing about) and had just got to the part about their belief that some Ethiopian King in the '30s was Jesus/God reincarnated. Right as I started snickering to myself at the thought my room started shaking, no joke, we had an earthquake.

Jah, I apologize to I-and-I. No more da downpression.
Not every dread a Rosta and not every Rosta a dread! Livication to da Rosta way! Peace mon!

Dude...intense...

Sometimes I feel like God is laughing at me. I don't really mind, though...I figure I do some stuff that must seem pretty stupid to a supreme being.

I don't think he was laughing at me last night. I took it as him saying, "Laugh at me and I will knock over your carppy Afghan built cardboard house!". Actually, the earthquake made me chuckle even more just by the way the bed (and entire plywood building) was swaying and creaking. It was more of a slow Berry Manilow love making quake than a violent, destrcutive shaking. lol
