AP,

Even with the noise they make, have to admit that it's better than cruising about doing it yourself Plus, I like the fact it will go under the bed to fight the monsters as well as push out any toys that have been dragged under there.

I really need to try one of these things... what happens when it finds electric cords? Or the short piece of thin rope one of my felines brings me as his trophy "snake"? And how about if the human bean in the house with really long hair and tends to shed as well?

I can certainly relate to that! Five dogs, three cats here! When I am sweeping, I turn around and there's MORE "stuff". My Roomba would short out in no time...

P.S. I like dac's f a r t i n g goats as well!!! I read things the same way.

The cat hair doesn't seem to bother the roomba nearly as much as the dog hair (German Shephard). Though as of this morning, the dog is banned to the back yard! Let her out at 1am when the pee pee tap dancing began, but found out bright and early this morning, she'd already made a mess all over the main level. I'm barely over my gagging Can do litterbox duty with no issues, dog doo.... barf!!!!

I didn't even want to bring up the mess the ONE teenager makes! It's entirely too horrifying.

I've got two of those (both male) and a third one on the way....
The smell emanating from my oldest's room is sometimes scary. Fortunately he's started taking an interest in a girl he's had over and I think she said something about his room as he cleaned it (well, you can see patches of floor now) yesterday.

Soooo, Fino, Dac raised the issue. Which is worse - goat gas or dog gas?

Speaking from my experience... I'll take ruminant gas any day over canine gas! Then again, swear the dog is old enough she's starting to rot from the inside. Even her breath makes me want to keel over.

You need to invest in their Scooba model for such an arduous task.
