Okay, before I even say it, I know this is going to sound very strange. And most of you are thinking "So what's new? That's typical chawks!"

Anyway, when I was on my routes this week, there seemed to be a lot more commercial meter reconnects than there were in the past year. Up until recently, the opposite was true. Unemployment here is 13.1% last I heard, and that's pretty scary, but maybe things are starting to turn around.

Just a very humble and uninformed opinion, and I'm not trying to stir up a Yea or Boo for any political group, so don't go there. All I'm doing is showing there is still a lot of hope for those who are looking for a job, and maybe those that were recently laid off will have some luck in other fields that are starting to recover.

Thanks and I have been here before. The company I work(ed) for said they would try and get me back as soon as they could. Said they have put in a lot of bids for jobs but nothing has come thru yet.

Lets not hijack this thread on my problems let just be happy for Trikster.

Yay Trikster! Things are definitely going your way. You should probably buy a lottery ticket while you're at it. Who knows? Maybe you'll be sponsoring the next M&G at your winery

TP - what types of animals are you hoping to control?

As I am filling out my paperwork for the job I got, I received a call for an interview for the job I want (much closer in line to what I want to do long term)... That is happening on Friday. I hope I find out quickly about this one so I can inform the other position. The pay isn't anywhere near as good, but the hours are far better and its a permanent position as the other is a temp to maybe perm...decisions decisions...

If it were me and the lower pay wasn't going to be an issue, I would go with the permanent job. I can't see you wanting to do the whole job search thing again in a year or two.
