...the store clerk gives you your change with the receipt, bills and coins all in one gob?

Now I gotta hold up the checkout line whilst I separate it, put the receipt in the bag, oops...pick up the spilled coins and put them in my pocket, then put the bills in my wallet.

Don't you hate it when . . .

. . . you spend your hard-earned money on groceries and your roommates eat it all?

I don't like it when people let their little kids put money in a lottery machine. Yep, teach 'em how to gamble before First grade.

Besides, technically the child is not allowed to win.

When you are paying for a service and ask for a specific job and they tell you they will and then don't. Sunday I had my oil changed and asked the attendant to check on a tire that seemed a little low, he assured me they would. When I got the car he told me everything was fine, the tire looked good. Dah! Today I had to have the tire repaired, luckily before it was ruined. How hard is it to find an inch and a half nail? Luckily, it was before everything was closed and the shop was reliable. But I could have been on the road with two small kids.
