Maybe after talking to you he thinks that you sound way too cute on the phone and doesn't want to have to end the date early because it is a school night.

I think it's okay, because originally he had said friday, and i changed it to thursday, and he forgot that he has be back up north thurs.

BUT

he called to tell me this afternoon , and then called me tonight to chat.

I'm not going to stress about it or anything, and i'm not going to analyze it like i normally do. I like him, and i'm just going to assume he likes me, and go from there.

I'm officially giving myself permission to like him and not be my usual over cautious protective self.

It IS ok! He didn't say he can't make Thursday and leave it at that. He just re-scheduled. You just have one more day to get excited about meeting him! Just go and have a great time and don't worry about the outcome.

Its all about the excitment before the actual date. We worry over what to wear or how to fix our hair an we fuss with things that we usually wouldnt fuss over.
Its all part of it. Because even if we end up not likin the fella, we still want him to like us first off. We want him to want us. Even if he cant have us. Its all a tease, until we get to a point where we want an or do more.
I think thats part of why we continue to date. Because it IS excitin. Worrisome but excitin still.

That feelin spreads through us all. We listen to you an your time an we get to live vicariously through you. At least thats what my mom talks bout when she starts meddlin into what my guy an I are textin bout.
"Oh come on! I dont date so there for I get to live vicariously through you!"
"Jus share with me, I'm your mother, your supposed to!"
"Jus tell me one thing, does he kiss good?"
The list goes on an on lol Its annoyin sometimes but I love her an I get where she's comin from.

So, I cant wait to hear bout what happens on your date! Have you decided what your gonna wear? Where your goin? Or what your gonna do? LOL

he texted this morning to see if i was up and then called to say hello.

I don't know what i'm going to wear- probably my sexy jeans and a cute top- it's rainy and cold here.

there's a brew pub here that i picked because it is least likely to be rowdy on a friday night.

the text is usually just to check if I'm busy and he can call, and it's a quick hello type thing.

let me tell you, it carploads better than those idiot guys who wait 3 days to call you. I'm way more interested in someone that is interested in me.
