IMHO, I think EH is one of the few wise dating services that neither support g_a_y dating or g_a_y relationships, up to this point (at least on this website.) I do not support them, either. I think themain people in this country who have wussed out is the legislators that made g_a_y marriages legal (in three states, no less.) If EH DOES choose to start supporting homosexual relations, as you say, I will withdraw my membership, effective immediately.

Well, that's pretty much already happened. The really disturbing thing is that a NJ court forced eH, essentially, to serve homosexuals without any legal precedent. The entire process was loaded with politics and wafer thin on legal standards. Will jdate.com (for Jews) now be forced to serve Muslims, or will non-Spanish language websites be forced to provide services in Spanish? Virtually every credible legal scholar who could be interviewed commented that the "logic" of this court decision is ridiculous and incredibly misguided. This is why judges need term limits and the public should be wary of judges who engage in judicial activism.

I am a lesbian womyn,,,and highly educated, emigrant of 9/11 and had to move from the ny metro area... ...as a clergy, and jewish i think its outragous that e-harmony is no different than any other hate group. That Jewish and Homosexual people have suffer thought the ages..it just reinforces that fascism IS alive and well and once again, womyn are left out IF they place a category ONLY for men.....living most of my life gay..and a womyn,,,,we have always gotten the shaft..and still they will cater to men ? Where is my Bershert? to find a beautiful, educated, moral, ethical...loving womyn?....i'm here and how does one reach this fascist state and get what we ALL deserve...'Only G-d Can Judge Me" and SHE is a loving and forgiving Spirit of Light" - no human has that right to judge me..." I am looking to meet only a womyn who wants to live a JEWISH RENEWAL LIFESTYLE. TIME IS RUNNING OUT. I am not into/impressed the way people convey in the 21 century. like placing value on things like ipods, cell phones, internet. junk foods and junk concepts...i am looking to a REAL relationship with an HONEST person with compassion, where ARE YOU ALL? write to me.....Only people from 55- above, living an ORGANIC AND ENVIRONMENTALLY conscience based lifestyle...ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKERS, DRUNKS, MANIC VIOLENT FOLKS.

being a lesbian does not make you any less of a person. But even so, practicing homosexuality is going to bring you nothing but trouble and heart-ache as long as you continue to do so. Practicing homosexuality is wrong any way you look at it. Whether others want to admit or not, EVERYONE old enough to have sexual thoughtshas had homosexual thoughts at one time or another in their life. Homosexual thoughts do NOT make you homosexual. Practicing homosexual behavior is what defines your sexualityas homosexual.


In God's eyes, homosexual sin is no different than lying, cheating, stealing, adultery, murder, etc. Sin is sin. You have a choice whether you want to live as a lesbian or as a woman - nobody is going to take away your choice. I can tell you right now, though, if you choose to continue practicing the lifestyle of a lesbian, your life will fall into utter ruin. I say this fromknowing about numerous people who had/have chosen a homosexual lifestyle.I would highly recommend researching the path of Jesus Christ, though. Surrendering your heart to Jesus and committing to the path God wants for you will bring you love, joy, peace, fulfillment, confidence, and EVERYTHING your heart needs. Here's the good part about following the path of Christ: if you make a steady commitment to Him, and stand firm with obedience to God, He will give you the desires of your heart. And if you stay obedient to Him, you will never be put to shame. That is one of His many promises.


Personally, I don't condemn YOU for being a lesbian, but I refuse to let homosexual practice become acceptable to me - in the same way I refuse to let lying or cheating or stealing or murder become acceptable. If I were to tell you that murdering someone was acceptable and a good thing, you would tell me that I am full of it, right? And you would be right. If anyone tries to define something wrong to be a good and acceptable practice, they are only lying to themselves - usually to compensate for their own guilt and shame.


From my eyes, homosexual offenders are people who are searching to fill the voids in their hearts with sexual gratification and define their identities as human beings according to their sexual behavior. People are NOT defined by sexual behaviors. People are defined by what is in their hearts. And once again, back to Jesus Christ, ifone has Jesus inhis heart,heis defined as a child of God. Without Him inhis heart, he is simply defined as "lost."


I don't know you personally, but I can say choosing a path of homosexuality is very unwise if you want to live a fulfilling life. I truly hope and pray that God will lead you to the "path of light" that you are looking for.

Even knowing legal restraints EH was placed under and knowing the political battles which have occurred over the homosexual equal rights court case, I have considered carefully my own personal choice in this matter. I cannot financially support a company which condones these types of relationships, even if they were backed into a corner, and still have a clear conscience. Therefore, I will no longer initiate any paid services from Eharmony and my last subscription has ended.

The following is God's truth about homosexuality: the cause, the effects, and the solution..................

Romans 1: 18 - 32 (NIV)

The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities – His eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
For although they knew God, they neither glorified Him as God, nor gave thanks to Him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.
Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather then the Creator – who is forever praised. Amen.
Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.
