Hi I'm new.
I have much experience on support sites, so I surely hope my posting is acceptable here. I try to keep guidelines, and don't go where I disagree with the rules.
I am middle aged and have been "alone" for many years. I believe the rapture will occur quite soon (definitely my lifetime!) and seek to do my best for Christ in the meantime. (Think "occupy.")
I have a wealth of knowledge and constantly work on the wisdom aspect of it all, with much potential.
While I am at E Harmony to maybe find a soul mate, I truly doubt there is enough time before we're taken up!
But to find good conversation would be a plus.

i had lori unsticky this thread and the prayer for community thread since the sticky feature was not really working for us here. i'll try with the help of the other admins to keep these two thread on our front page with timely bumps.

Define new... To these boards sure, I am new. To eHarmony in general, negative. I have been on eHarmony off and on since 2003. I was just fishing before, but this time I am putting myself out there and taking some chances. Also I am being a lot more selective on whom I exchange emails with, meet, and hopefully hook up with. I "believe" I am a lot more mature and ready for a relationship then even say, a year ago. so there is the low down on the Poet, didn't you know it?

I would like to extend a warm greetings to those who are new to this site. I hope you are edified and lifted up but challenged also by the expression posted here in honor Of the one and true God and His Son Jesus Christ.

I would also like to encourage you in finding that special person that God has prepared for you that together the two of you might honor God in the living of your lives for His glory.

It was a fluke but over a month ago I had began getting to know a fantastic woman who in my eyes is a very rare Gem. QG and I had just spent the weekend together in DC. She stayed with her friend and I in a hotel. We had many grand adventures together and spent true intimate time getting to know oneanother without the need for physical expression. It can be done. Spending large quantities of time and experiences together with out feeling aquard because we were not being physical together. In fact we felt very natural together and because we discussed the physical ahead of time and determined proper boundries we didn't have to think about what the other expected. It is very freeing. This is true liberation !!!

The thing that is most important is that God is honored in our treatment of oneanother as brother and sister in Christ. We dont know what the future holds for us together but we know we can move foward with our testimony intact and live as examples to others who might be weak in this area. This doesnt make us any better than anyone or more holy but because we know how weak we are and wisdom provides the path that we should walk and the spirit of God gives us the strength. This is all done for Gods honor and glory and not our own.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm new to the advice thing. I've been on eHarmony for nearly 3 months with less than no luck. Pretty discouraging. Do we, as Christians, have any place where we can go to get Godly encouragement? As in, if I weren't a Christian and know who I am in Christ, I'd be in fetal position bawling right now....
