More good news:

My mom talked to Steve on the phone the other day and called him "son." I talked to her again today and she told me she thinks he has been good for me. She says I seem much happier and more at peace than I have been for a long, long time. She's very impressed with him. This is a complete reversal of her original reaction to the news that I was dating him and is a huge answer to prayer!
That is great! Things are SO much easier when mom and dad like the boyfriend!

I am confused why a Christian group would host a fan club for anyone but the Lord?

Not trying to be unkind. It just seems the wrong place for a fan club unless it's concerning God.

It's just a funny thread. Not an actual fan club, though we do love Lindsey. It's us being silly. Not disrespectful.

I apologize if this thread has caused offence to anyone. It was started as a joke and has become a place where people can come, relax, and let the rest of us know how they're doing or if there is something interesting going on in their lives. I was not in any way trying to put myself above God when I started it.

LOL!!!

Are you all sitting down?

Guess what?!!!! I'm getting married!!!! Steve proposed on Sunday night. We had a wonderful evening with my parents and sister and then he and I went out for a walk after everyone else had gone to bed (two hour time difference). He proposed then. I said YES!!!!

I'll have more details for you all later, but for now, may I just say that this time with my family has been a HUGE answer to prayer? Wow!! God is SO good!!!!
