This article is perfect timing for me. I've been really wanting to spend time with my new partner so that we can get o know each other better. She is hard for me to read though. She shows she is very interested but at the same time she holds back. I decided to back off and let her be the one to set the pace. So now I'm only responding to her emails. She seems to want some space--at least that's what I'm guessing b/c she does email me and wants to go out again, just not as quickly as I do. I have been trying to figure out what this means. But the idea of her needing space and that not being a sign to me that she is not interested is what I am going to go with. Sometimes I need more space, but right now I don't and she does. Good article and good timing for me.

I'm creative-I need space and time to let my creative juices flow (or gel..whatever they do).  In my profile I say that right up front.

I am independent and self sufficient and can fend for myself-how to phrase that without sounding stand off-ish?  It's not that I don't want to be with someone-I just don't HAVE to in order to be fulfilled. I enjoy fun intelligent men a lot.

Tis a quandry, especially when many men my age are still looking for a woman to take care of-bless their hearts-I wish I could be that way.

two plants cannot live together in the same space, they need to have a proper distance to live together... I hope that explains it further...
