great idea, but if as a group we can't get a thread going...how much interest if there? Why don't you start a thread on this and see if anyone or how many respond? Other ideas? I'm game.
Texas, you started this thread and it's growing. I don't think that there are alot of people from the DFW area on these boards to begin with but perhaps I'm wrong. Iperform asearch for guys in this area and the results are very few. I don't enterrestrictive criteria either. Obviously because I'm a chick, I search for men and honestly the results are very limited for men in DFW on the Advice boards. . .

**shrug**

I am, however, glad that I found thisgroup. It makes me feel less lonely.

I'm with you Texas, on not having much in the expectation department....b/c if i did, Wow, i would have cried a river by now! lol I joined EH a few months back and after the second ,um really scary date i desided to not put much stock in any match...EH only has what we give them to work with and if ppl leave out the fact that they oh well gained 60ibls since thier last picture, have ADHD, and had a baby 6mths ago on a one night stand well...yea know, it's not the programs fault! hahah Boy do i have stories! I've also met some really interesting and nice guys too...just no chemistry....So glad i happened upon this site! So much fun meeting all the ppl we aren't supposed to be talking to! lol

Sorry for all the sp's i'm awful at it...i know this.

Anybody feel like going to the Kimbell museum to see the Impressionists show? I've read really good reviews. But it ends soon.

Hmm...amusic show/concert inDeep Ellum, LowerGreenvilleor Funky-town perhaps would be fun to go to right now before summer ends. . .Or we could all meet at one of the restaurants that D Magazine always gives good ratings toand have dinner together????

(I'm just thinking out loud and alsodrinking a glass of AWESOME, fabulousShiraz I found at Whole Foods tonight.)

Say. . .the Cowboys are gonna start playing soon...maybe we could go to Texas Stadium and watch a game? Or there is always the Dallas Symphony. . .

What else could we do together for a meet-up?????Any ideas?????

Ooops. I mean to indicate that I know what you mean about going on dates that turn out scary and there's no chemistry with the guy.

I have to say, I kinda want to hear some of these stories! The few ladies I have met via e-h have been really fine, no wierdness, just not a close enough match to pursue I guess (according to one or the other of us). I have had some funny things said in OC, so I guess I could add a fewstories.

Yay! to all for getting this going. I was disappointed that there wasn't more but too new to online communities to be comfortable in starting something.

I've been an eHarmony member for 2 months. My 1st match seemed perfect and we were on our way to meeting but an old gf came back into the picture. More than 200 matches since but only 1 has gone past stage 1...and I closed it before OC because flexible matching in this case seemed a little too flexible to me.

However, I will say that I personally know 2 women in the area who have met their fiances through eHarmony. Both seem to be happy.

And I agree...a meet would be great!

Hello all! So, have any of yall ever been in a serious relationship as a result of being on e harmony? [I have not.] If so, what do you attribute that to? I mean -- have you been willing to meet lots of women/men and that increased your odds of getting into a LT relationship? [I close alot figuring that if I know it won't work...why bother...]

Let's see if we can get this group moving! Thanks all!!
I am new to this group. . and anxious to hear from fellow Texans. I am new to EH. . Christmas gift to myself. . not much communicationg as I expected. . I am hopeful
