Maybe find a workout partner? That can help out a lot.

There is a really cool free website that helps you log food (really easy, just enter the nutrition labels), exercise, it has a journal place, a place to enter your mood, and a calendar. You can set goals, and it calculates how much you would need to lose per week, etc.

It's called fitday.com. When I use it, I get so motivated by seeing my little icons fill in the calendar, knowing I took the time to do something positive like log food and exercise.

I have just gone through a bout of bad reactions to supplements my doctor put me on, bad headaches, stomach aches, etc. I really want to get back to regular exercise too, and it will help me feel better.

I do... start going... but only 15 minutes... but everyday.... far more important just to get the habit of going there first because you start putting big effort into it because they will make the habit resist. Keep going until you feel odd if you don't. Then add 15 minutes each week, etc.

Definitely just do it. In gearing up to go back to the gym, I spent a LOT of energy thinking (and worrying) about it that, once I "just did it", proved to be a waste.

It's not that bad.

You'll be glad you went.

Come here and post when you go and we'll shower you with praise!
