I haven't been and I've been feeling really tired all the time. So, this weekend I bought the Viactiv chewy chocolaty vitamins and a super-max B complex. On day three of taking them and I'm starting to notice a difference, I've been perkier today, only getting tired now, at the (scheduled) end of work workday. Plus, all the B vitamins are supposed to help with weight loss

How about you, do you take multi's? If so, which kind do you take and do you like them? If not, why not?

I have never taken daily vitamins. I just concentrate on eating well balanced, nutritional meals and I don't cook my many veggies to death before consuming them. If I am feeling less than perky I just increase my water intake.

Hello and welcome to the Group!

I drink TONS of water so I don't think that's the problem.

Most likely any remaining fatigue I have is due to a lack of sleep (I only get between 6 - 7 hours a night -- usually more like 6) combined with an increase in exercise. It's been a few months not but maybe my body needs more time to get used to it.

Update: more than a week after starting MV's and a B complex, I definitely feel a difference in my energy levels. Yay!

I take Nature-Made liquid gels as it is easier to absorb. I have heard/read that everyone should take a good quality multi-vit due to environmental toxins, not enough variety in the American diet, and poor digestion which can lead you to serious deficiency. I think the only ones who can pull off not doing so are our educated organic/vegetarian friends out there who are willing to drink/eat almost anything in the name of health.
Viactiv was dangerous for me because...I love chocolate too much
I did take B-vitamins(especially Biotin) for a while when my hair was falling out (due to stress & illness). Always good to get a complete blood work up with the doc because you not only can suffer anemia from lack of iron but also lack of B vitamins.
Beware of some of those energy boosting herbs and drinks though...many of them have sugar and/or caffeine which initially get you going but let you down in the end.

I do when I have them. I like the NOW foods brand. But I don't notice if I take them or not.

I don't take multivitamins...I'm really bad that way. Not disciplined enough. I drink Odwalla juices instead (and always look at the nutritional facts for calorie and vit info). They're expensive!

Add: I mix this with lite soymilk also to dilute the sugar content.
