Any other women out there who aren't gold diggers or trying to find another daddy that attract and are attracted to men 8- 10 years older? I mean, I dont go around asking "how old are you" and don't go so far to date the grey's, but I'm simply attracted to older men and thats all I attract. Just curious (this aint a female only question either!)

I generally go for the older women. They have had more time to establish their career, they are generally more responsible and have, in some cases, learned to not rely on a man. A lot of women my age just don't have what it takes to make it in the world yet.


Oh, and if you are looking for responses, this group is NOT the place you wanna be placing this. I would go with the dating discussion board.

Hmm... I think this is a case of something different for everyone. I don't think it's weird that you go for ppl 8-10 yrs older. I tend to go for people just a few years older, up to 6 years older or so. I think it might be because partially I like the baby face look =)

Ok; I'm really late to this discussion; lol. But yes, mullet, I too am attracted to older men. I'm not looking for a father figure, and I'm not a gold digger either. I attract men my age and older men, but I don't date the men my age. The maturity and depth just isn't there in any of the younger men that I know.

I have always dated older men. I am very mature for my age and I hope that by dating older men I will find someone who is not just looking for a booty call. I have had no luck lol!

I also tend to be attracted to older men (I think grey hair is pretty hot), which is probably why I'm single. I'm only around the younger ones at college and it seems most of the "good" older ones are married. Either that or the single older ones just don't bother talking to me because they assume I'd be creeped out.


Haha, maybe I should just date guys my age and check out their fathers to get an idea of what they'll be like in 20-some years.

No, I completely agree with you. I'm just simply attracted to guys around 7-10 years older than me. I'm not saying that it's just them, even guys just two years older can be attractive. I just thought the other day how weird that may be, but it's the way that I am too. :-)
