World Religions vs. Christianity

It certainly is the religion of a bunch of folks! With all the zeal and reverence and devotion to dogma that other religions have! It is a scientific theory however. - which does NOT make it a proven fact. It is still, despite all objections - just a theory!

What I find both amusing and disturbing is that it was always clear in the past that a "Theory" was still a theory (as opposed to FACT) More and more I see the definition of the term morphing into suggesting that the term: "Theory" when connected to the term: "Evolution" - is actually a proven fact!

Which proves nothing but that when the Zealots of a particular religion are also the guys controlling the educational system and the flow of information - ideological hegemony and academic fascism are the result.

Above I Made a part of the paragraph bold - notice what it says - and notice that the "Theory" of evolution - doesn't seem to be held to that standard - in light of the fact of the ludicrous amounts of "missing links" that exist. There should at least be a major footnote in academia that some serious questions in the fossil record remain unanswered by the theory of evolution. - There is not!!!

What we have to understand is that it is important for Christians not to abdicate science just because a large part of the scientific and academic community have taken it hostage.

One of the reasons, I believe, that the lack of "Missing links" is not taken seriously - is that some Christians who couldn't deal with the guys digging up the dinosaur fossils ceded the moral high ground of the importance of the fossil record and minimized it because they were concerned that it might pose an insurmountable challenge. - When it is actually the fossil record that gives us the greatest bully club to beat the evolutionist senseless (well, you gotta have sense first)! And the sensational "discoveries" have gone a long way to making evolutionary theory a defacto fact - if not really a factual fact!

Now it's hard to go back and reclaim that lost ground because much of this is really a cultural war and a political fight - rather than truly stemming from science! In other words: "A whole lotta people WANT to believe in evolution. Why... ...because our society is increasingly morally corrupt - how'd that happen? Well, partially because they were told by the "experts" that there was no God, we came from the Ooze and so you might as well "GET IT" while you can!

So was it the immorality and amorality of the "experts" that corrupted society - or was it the corruptions that influenced the "experts"? Which brings us back to THE original question: "Which came first - the chicken or the egg?"

All that said...

The movie: Expelled" was an absolute triumph!!!

For anyone who doesn't think that the scientific and academic communities have been compromised by those who "worship" evolution - I highly recommend that you watch it!
