I agree with being able to be patient for a pic. If it is posted right off hand you will undoubtedly be judged by it. But holding out on the picture to long will make the interested start to feel as if the other is hiding something. Alot of people find insecurity unattractive. I am I guy and I agree with the woman who say some guys jump straight to looking at the pic and not reading reading the profile, not giving anyone a chance. Physical attractiveness isnt just what our eyes see, but what our mind and heart see.
I hate it that people can see my photo but I cannot see theirs. This is a deal-breaker for me, and I will probably not renew my subscription because of it.
