I joined about a month ago, and started getting matches every day for about the first week. Then all of a sudden I didn't any, and I was like ok I'll give it some time. Three weeks later not a single one. My matching is on and the perimeters for the search are not very specific at all. None in very important and only a few in somewhat. Does this normally happen or am I really what people aren't looking for?

At the begining you get a lot of matches because those people are already here. Now you just get one when someone new fills out the personality profile.

Normal for some people is getting about 10 new matches a week, for others they're lucky to get 1 a month.

Of all things, your geography and age determine how many matches you'll ever get.

Click "Find New Matches" whenever you remember, even if it hardly works.

Are you searching within 300 miles to cover Charleston and Columbia?

If still nothing happens, call eHarmony and demand they fix it.

This is about what I get also. Been on eHarmony over six months now. What a waste of money.

By the way, welcome to the discussion boards.

I was thinking the same thing. If things don't change within my subscribtion I wont renew it. I don't have to pay and feel rejected, I can sit at home and do that for free.

Thank for the welcome glad to be here

Welcome, Deedle! Remember, you can use the advice boards even if you are a nonsubscriber.

Some people have said that they get more matches when their subscription is about to expire. Mine will expire in a little over 2 weeks; I guess I'll find out soon.....
