"My Matches" may not be members?

It would be nice if EH coded nonmembers, so a lack of response didn't feel like so much of a personal rejection. I can see that getting matches would encourage the nonmembers to pay up, but for the paying members, it is extremely hurtful to get excited that they have a match and then have no communication. If we knew that a match was still on the sidelines and not actually in the game, we would be more realistic about our chances, and maybe be more pleasantly surprised if they did subscribe and contact us.

I totally getthe concept of allowing non-paying members to be matched and toview their matches as a marketing strategy in an effort to get business. I think it would have been nice to know, however,that somemaatches did not respond to my requests to communicate because they were non-paying members.I agree there should have been some type of coding applied tonon-paying members.More disturbing to me,is that even after I closed my e-harmony account to take a break, my profile is still being used and I am actually still receiving matches.Perhaps I have to go back and read the legalities of my contract with e-harmony to see if they can use my profile after my contract with them ended. I do not appreciate my profile being made available as if I am still on e-harmony so that I receive matches and those matches try to communicate with me. I agree that these are human beings with whom we are dealing and it is not fair to lead them on. Doesn't this practice seem deceptive?If I were going to renew my subscription, thishas changed my mind.
